BC Cafeteria Reno Complete BWK GC BWK Construction served as the general contractor for the Walsh Hall Cafeteria renovation at Boston College, which was an interior fit-out with new finishes, custom millwork and modifications to the existing MEP systems. The project was completed on a fast-track schedule to ensure that the cafeteria facilities were ready for the returning Boston College athletic teams.
Delta Renovates Harvard Residence Hecht & Associates Architects Medford, MA – Delta Design & Construction has recently started renovations on the Pforzheimer Masters’ Residence House, one of 12 undergraduate residential houses at Harvard University. Delta partnered with Hecht & Associates Architects on the project. This fast-track project entails the renovation of approximately 4000sf and includes significant lighting upgrades, new millwork and revisions to the architectural finishes. Delta will complete this project within a sixweek schedule.

Suffolk Education Begins New Charter Public School
Pforzheimer Masters’ Residence House
Boston, MA - Suffolk Education recently announced that it broke ground and began renovations and construction of a new $39.6 million facility to house the Boston Renaissance Charter Public School. The Suffolk team is renovating an existing, three-story mill building and warehouse in the Hyde Park section of Boston and constructing a 20,000sf addition. The Boston Renaissance Charter Public School is the largest charter school in Boston, serving children from 10 city neighborhoods. The school is divided into
three smaller schools, consisting of the Kinder School for grades K1 and K2, the Primary School for grades 1 through 3, and the Elementary School, for grades 4, 5 and 6. Classrooms for each of these smaller schools will be housed on a separate floor of the mill building. The warehouse building will house a gymnasium, a cafeteria, a multimedia center, music classrooms and dance studios. The addition will contain a new administrative wing, the K1 wing, a connecting corridor and support facilities.
