Live Auction A. Quilt in blues and pinks A Hand-tied quilt in blues and pinks. This quilt is approximately 90x59 and would make a great gift for the retreat center beds if you would like to purchase it and donate it back to Highlands. Donated by First Presbyterian Church of Fort Collins.
B. Autumn colors afghan This afghan is made by Maxine Gleason. The squares are in the browns and oranges of autumn and it is large enough to cover a twin bed or wrap yourself in during a Broncos game.
B. Quilted acorns and oak table runner with handcrafted cherry bowl Quilted in Fall browns and blacks, the table runner was made by Ruth Tisdale at Valmont Presbyterian Church, and the 8" lacquered cherry wooden bowl was crafted by Kent Payne.

E. Lunar Eclipse photo An approximately 16x24 Canvas wrap photo of the December 2011 lunar eclipse that is almost complete before it dips behind the horizon over the Indian Peaks Wilderness area near Nederland. Donated by neighbor, Mike Schantz.
F. Wooden Cross - Aspen and Orange Crafted by Russ skinner in reddish-orange with aspen trim. These are an auction favorite.
G. Dreams quilt Tranquil blues and greens quilt made by Judith Dickson that encourages us to live, grow, laugh, dream. . Approx 52x60.
Live Auction H. Wooden hiking stick This stick was carved from American Black Walnut by Kent Payne of Farner, TN using only a POCKET KNIFE! The snakes around it were formed when a honeysuckle vine grew around the young walnut tree and the tree grew over the vine.
I. Large pre-printed fabric quilt Nancy Greenwood of Timath Presbyterian Church has contributed this 60"x60" quilt featuring a preprinted design that has been quilted.
J. Maria's cookies Each year, Maria continues a tradition of baking dozens of gourmet Christmas cookies with a dear friend. Packed with care for the trip home from Pennsylvania and pre-screened by airport security. . . They promise to be a delicious part of any Christmas party or family gathering. There are 15 varieties of 10 dozen cookies. This year's new cookie is a white chocolate cherry covered short bread.
K. Antique white quilt with blue baskets A large, handmade white quilt with blue baskets by Maxine Gleason's grandmother, Emily Lindsay.
L. Footprints embroidered wall hanging Footprints in the sand is a favorite verse of many, and graces this embroidered wall hanging (with dowel and ribbon) made by Harriet McNeill.
M. Vintage rocking motorcycle This vintage rocking motorcycle was rescued and lovingly restored for this year's auction by Geoff Noble..
Live Auction N. Trees and Wildlife quilt and matching wall hanging Measuring approximately 52x64, this quilt features pine trees in strips with a brown border that is paired with an approximately 33x43 matching wall hanging. The wall hanging includes a reindeer at the bottom and whimsical hoofprints with green animal print border.
O. Glen Haven Firetruck This matted print by Terry Kasprzak is a photo of a piece of local history. This old Chevrolet fire truck surely saw much action in the Big Thompson canyon, but now sits retired and snow-covered in the small mountain community of Glen Haven. $125 min
P. Queen-sized stack n whack quilt Pieced and designed by Jean Williamson and quilted by Maureen Waite. This item was featured in an earlier auction and has been donated back for sale. It is a beautiful, solid black, large scale floral rose and dahlia print machine pieced and machine quilted item. It is 92.25x110 and is a black cotton/polyester blend. An appraisal is included with this quilt.
Q. Hygiene Propane 300 gallons of propane courtesy of Hygiene Propane Services. Tank must be accessible to the driver and either property owned or leased from Hygiene Propane Services. Delivery must be taken by December 31, 2012. This would also be a great item to donate back to Highlands!
