High Flying Foods stands at the forefront of airport dining, celebrated for its awardwinning and industry-leading practices. Our goal is to enrich the travel experience through unique and memorable dining experiences that capture the culinary identity of local communities. With a proven track record in operational excellence and financial performance, we manage a diverse portfolio of food and beverage concepts. Our commitment to authenticity and local culinary representation has been the bedrock of our success, and we consistently bring some of the most popular local and chef-driven concepts to the airport world.
Founded by brothers Glenn and Garrett Meyers, High Flying Foods originated from a deep-seated love and passion for food. Using family recipes handed down for
generations, the brothers opened their first nationally celebrated restaurant, Firewood Cafe, in San Francisco in 1997. Recognized for their exceptional execution at Firewood Cafe, they were invited to bring the wildly popular restaurant concept to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in 2000. Fast forward to today, Glenn’s sons Zac and Colton have joined the team, and with nearly 40 locations across seven international airports, High Flying Foods has established itself as a leading prime concessionaire in the industry. We excel in preserving and showcasing the unique identity of each brand within the local community. We take pride in our proficiency to breathe life into these distinctive, highly sought-after local brands in the airport environment.

New Belgium Brewing began in 1991 with a Belgian inspiration and a big idea about what beer could be. Today, it’s an award-winning global icon, celebrated for beers like Fat Tire and Voodoo Ranger, and respected for setting the bar on sustainability, innovation, and purpose-driven brewing.
In 2019, we partnered with New Belgium Brewing to open a high-design destination in Denver International Airport’s Terminal B. The space showcases New Belgium’s iconic craft beers alongside a thoughtfully curated menu developed in collaboration with a leading local chef, celebrating the best of Colorado’s regional flavors. Since opening, the location has become one of the airport’s most visited concepts, standing as a benchmark for both design and guest experience.


A16 launched in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2004 with a passion for Southern Italian flavors and wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas that quickly made it a local favorite. Celebrated for its vibrant food & wine program, seasonal pizzas, exceptional value, and accolades like Michelin Guide recogntion, A16 has become a Bay Area institution blending Italian tradition with modern flair.
At Oakland International Airport, we partnered with the team behind A16,or offering outstanding cuisine and exceptional value. We translated A16’s design language into the terminal environment, sourcing authentic elements and ensuring the space reflects the restaurant’s identity while highlighting its deep, carefully curated wine selection drawn from Southern Italian producers and beyond.




When Alfred Peet opened his first coffee shop in Berkeley, California in April 1966, he started a coffee revolution. Peet’s hand-roasts its coffee in small batches, focusing on using superior-quality beans and a darker roasting style. Maintaining an unrelenting commitment to quality, Peet’s remains the gold standard by which all other coffee is judged.
Our partnership with Peet’s Coffee began in 2004, rooted in a shared commitment to quality and Bay Area craft. In bringing them to San Francisco International Airport, we were proud to be their first-ever licensed partner. Since then, we have gone on to operate more than ten Peet’s locations. Across every store, we have focused on building to the highest standard and training our teams to deeply understand Peet’s coffee and tea, ensuring each cup reflects the brand’s legacy and attention to detail.



With a vision to serve the finest classic American roadside food in a friendly and fun atmosphere, Joel and Duncan Gott founded Gott’s Roadside in 1999. Their versions of these American classics are made to order using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. In 2006, the restaurant received the James Beard Foundation Award, the most prestigious food and beverage award in the country, solidifying their iconic status.
The Gott’s team has entrusted us to operate and steward their brand at San Francisco International Airport, where we built a full-service location in the International Terminal. The space translates the spirit of their original roadside stands into an airport setting, showcasing their signature menu and distinctly Californian approach to food and hospitality.




San Diego-based Cutwater Spirits brings craft distilling to new heights with a bold lineup of expertly crafted spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails. Creating everything from award-winning vodkas and gins to meticulously balanced canned cocktails with a focus on quality and creativity, Cutwater uses the finest ingredients and time-honored techniques to produce spirits that stand out in flavor and style.
In 2025, in partnership with Cutwater, we opened a full-service bar and restaurant at San Diego International Airport that draws directly from their brand elements and distilling heritage. Our Culinary Director, in collaboration with the Cutwater team, crafted a modern and approachable food menu that pairs effortlessly with Cutwater signature cocktails, creating a seamless brand experience and a destination that has become a standout success at the airport.


Puesto is an award-winning Mexican artisan restaurant with a growing footprint of more than a dozen locations across Southern California and beyond, celebrated for its modern, handcrafted tacos and vibrant dining experience that blends Mexico City energy with Southern California spirit.
We are working alongside the Puesto team to build out their full-service space at San Diego International Airport, designing a destination that leans into the brand’s distinctive aesthetic, bold flavors, and creative hospitality to create a faithful extension of their celebrated restaurants in an airport setting.





Better Buzz Coffee Roasters is a San Diego–born specialty coffee brand with a rapidly growing footprint of more than 25 locations, and known for its loyal following, high-energy hospitality, and signature drinks like the Best Drink Ever®. In addition to its standout coffee, the brand offers a range of fresh pastries, sandwiches, avocado toasts, and acai bowls, ensuring there’s something for every craving.
In 2025, we opened a premier Better Buzz location at San Diego International Airport, working closely with the brand to translate its identity into the airport environment. Since opening, the location has significantly surpassed all expectations and has quickly become one of the airport’s standout performers.

We integrate thoughtful design, architecture, and ambiance into each of our spaces to ensure that dining or drinking out is a unique, memorable experience. From materiality to seating to signage, we pore over every design detail to make sure that each one honors and is reflective and representative of our brand partners’ concept and vision.
