Welcome to Highfields School!

We would like to take the opportunity to say thank you so much for engaging in our transition process this year, and for joining us on Saturday 3 July.

We do hope that the information we have provided has helped to make you all feel a little more comfortable about making the transition to Highfields in September. We also hope that you all have a safe and restful summer break.

We are very much looking forward to meeting our new year 7 students on 1 September. Students will have the whole of lower school to themselves and will spend the entire day with their form class, getting to know their tutor and new classmates.

A letter will be sent to parents/carers during the summer to activate your Parentpay account. We would advise you to pay for the locker key as soon as possible after this has been activated. Please add money to the school dinners account on 31 August ready for their first day. The minimum amount allowed to be added is £12.50. If you wish to add less then you can request a bar coded letter from us to allow you to do so at Paypoint shops.

If your child is entitled to FSM, we would advise you to send them in with their own snacks for breaktime, or request a bar coded letter from us. This will enable you to put on some money at Paypoint shops if you want them to have a snack in school occasionally.
