Girls Activator coaches
Year 10 girls activator coaches, Eleanor H and Sophie H, ran a session of tennis and rounders to their peers as part of the Youth Sport Trust project on Friday 2 July.

Girls cricket
Derbyshire women’s cricket captain, Lauren, ran four sessions of the girls cricket club. The girls are always excited about this session and are having fun.
Beyond the Baseline
Session two of the year 8 ‘beyond the baseline’ tennis project took place today, Friday 9 July, with GB player, Jade Windley. We will update with photographs next week.
Road to Wimbledon
On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July the Derbyshire ‘Road to Wimbledon’ finals take place – we will report more in next week’s newsletter.
Other news
Mrs Allen attended the July Youth Sport Trust webinar this week for the next membership period starting in September and also this week Sports Leaders UK quality assurance took place via Zoom for our 2020-21 courses.
