Welcome to our 61st season!
Summer is here! Opening Day is Saturday, May 27th at 12:00 PM. Fingers crossed for warm and sunny weather. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help get the Club ready these past couple of weeks. It’s a heart-warming reminder of what makes Hideaway Swim Club a special place. Our managers and staff are excited and ready to welcome you to our slice of paradise hidden away on County Line Road. We can’t wait for another memorable summer.

Membership
● The deadline for Membership Dues was Thursday, May 11, 2023 If membership dues were not paid, you cannot use the Club. Membership dues can be paid using your eSoft account If membership dues are not paid, you will receive a certified letter in the mail. Please contact our membership chair as soon as possible.
● Each bond is responsible for the $50 volunteer fee. If the fee was not paid, you are not able to use the pool. If you complete the 3-hours volunteer requirement, the volunteer fee will be reimbursed at the beginning of October for the 2023 season.
● Bond Redemption: If you are looking to redeem your bond, you need to follow the instructions and complete the required paperwork. Information regarding the process can be found here Redemption requests must be received by 12/31/2023 to avoid paying membership dues in 2024. If the redemption request for 2024 is received after 12/31/23, you are responsible for the membership dues. Bonds returned to the Club will be sold in the order they are received. You have the option to sell your own bond. Previous members have listed their bond on social media platforms such as Facebook.

Operations
● This is the first year we have implemented a volunteer fee. The fee is $50 and is attached to your membership dues. To receive the $50 fee back, each bond must provide 3 hours of service to the Club. Volunteering includes but is not limited to attending promotional events such as Horsham Day to help at the Hideaway table and helping at the Club on clean-up days. If there is anything you would like to do to help at the Club outside of scheduled times, please contact Chris Trucksess at

Pickleball Update
Many thanks to Lines by Reins for helping us get started on installing our Pickleball Courts They were able to fit us in the schedule on Wednesday, May 17th Stay tuned for more information on opportunities for scheduling time on the courts and plans for tournaments this season If you’d like to be a part of the rollout and designing regulations for court use, sign up here!
*Qualifications
Min Age: No minimum age, but swimmers must be able to complete a lap of the pool competitive freestyle (with side breathing) as well as have knowledge of 1 other competitive stroke Divers will be instructed and evaluated
Pre Team: We are proud to offer a 'ladybug' pre-team with the goal of competing in at least 1 meet during the season Ladybugs must be able to complete one lap of the pool unassisted, by the beginning of morning practices, 6/19
Diving: The dive team offers several levels of dive instruction, from beginners to HS athletes New divers may not be ready to compete, but the goal is to get on the boards for meets eventually

Hurricane Swim & Dive Team
The SWIM & DIVE Team is gearing up for the summer season! Swim and dive at Hideaway is a great way to spend summer mornings at practice with friends/teammates and amazing coaches that encourage each and every athlete to be their best in and out of the pool. Competitive experience is NOT necessary as practices are structured by age, ability, and experience. Stroke and turn instruction is a daily part of our mission with racing and FUN our goals.

PLEASE register your swimmer/diver(s) on the Esoft management system to secure their spot and be on the lookout for an additional link to fill in emergency contact information in the near future.
PRACTICES
All NEW swimmers are invited to meet the coaches and be evaluated on Tuesday 5/30 - anytime from 5:30-7:30 This is only for New swimmers and their families If you are unable to attend, your athlete will be evaluated* on their first day of practice
● Afternoon practices (Pre Season) run WEDNESDAY 5/31 until we switch to AM practices Monday 6/19.
● DAILY PM SCHEDULE starting Wed 5/31
○ SWIM:
■ 4:30-5:30 13 years +
■ 5:30-6:30 10-12
■ 6:30-7:15 9 and under
○ DIVE:
■ 5:30-6:30 9 and under
■ 6:30-7:30 10&up
