I was born in Jakarta, 27 September 1995. I am 26 years old. I have been practising drawing since a kid and took jobs as freelance Illustrator since the end of 2016. My pen name is R A S S U I was graduated from Master of Design Bandung Institure of Technology, specifically at Visual Communication Design. I had worked for some publishers as cover book illustrators and open commission until present. In 2022, I also wrote a book called “The Restless Word” which contains poetries and illustrations.

The Restless Soul is a personal book that I created which contains the collection of illustrations and poetries. This is where i contemplated my self, explored feelings and wishes together with my self.

I think talent was made to be used by those who are gifted

For the better world

For the better self

So for those who born with natural talent

Why waste it?

I swear that i hear The wind calling my name Again and again

I thought it’s the sign that my time has come

But I was wrong

It’s a calling to stay alive

However, daddy, I didn’t ask to be born Why do I always treated like I’m some kind of disaffected, seditious Godless person?

While I don’t even know why am I breathing

You see yourself being abandoned by you You don’t accept The condition that you are in And you realize that was a mistake

We supposed to accept Who we are And what happened in our life

You begin to learn about yourself And accept it slowly

You’ve failed but not a failure. And this time, it shaped you. Those people, they shaped you. It’s just God’s way to say, “I want you to grow, before i give you bigger things.” You know when you created a sharp sword, the sword must been through fire, heat, again and again before they become sharp, awesome sword.

So grow. They’ve been through a lot before they become a killer

Let them come to the surface
