Dear Friends,
January 2023

These last few years have shown us that we can’t take anything for granted, including our friends, family, and our health. Despite these uncertain times, I have been so inspired by our donors and volunteers who have stepped up with faith and compassion, continuing to support the families traveling to Tulsa in medical crises. You truly have made a difference in our families’ lives at just the right time! Thank you so much.
Because of your generous help and support in 2022, we were able to serve 575 families from as close as Skiatook, Oklahoma (30 miles) to as far away as Barcelona, Spain (4,351 miles) and Volkach, Germany (4,912 miles). By combining our gifts, talents, and time, this ministry of hospitality has reached all the way around the world!
I am so grateful to our Board of Directors and Advisors who continue to move our mission forward each month. They have worked very hard this last year identifying an amazing location for our new hospitality house, while at the same time working on our sustainability for years to come.
Our Hospitality House staff has done an incredible job caring for our families, finances, and facilities. They are eager to show up each day and serve with compassion and grace. I’m so proud of each of them and the excellence they bring to our mission.

Our volunteers continue to come week after week to serve through meals, prayer support, and notes of encouragement for our guests and their patients. Additionally, they have brought their skills and muscle to remodel family suites, provide some heavy lifting, and revitalize our landscaping. Their dedication makes Hospitality House a true “home away from home.” It has been so encouraging to see new volunteers join this year alongside former volunteers returning after the height of the pandemic. To all of our volunteers, you are lifesavers to the guests and staff. Thank you for your service!
To those of you who reached deep into your pockets and generously gave this last year, thank you so much! This ministry of biblical hospitality would not be possible without those of you who give annually and especially our Care Keepers who give monthly. We are so grateful to you. To the foundations, corporate sponsors, hospitals, and churches who continually support our mission year after year with significant financial gifts, thank you for empowering us to serve 8,200 families from near and far these last 17 years.
Our work of showing brotherly love toward strangers grows as the need for affordable medical lodging in Tulsa grows. God has given us an important role in the lives of these families traveling in medical crises. May we all be faithful to give our best to Him by serving the least of these.
Still practicing,
