Stronger together
Stronger together.
A message from infectious disease specialist Kimberly Shriner, MD.
In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, everyone at Huntington Hospital worked quickly to adapt and to meet the unexpected and unprecedented challenge.
Our caregivers and staff have exemplified compassion in action during this crisis. We are grateful to each of them, and to the many community members like you who have shown your appreciation for our work. Your care and concern, demonstrated in many ways, help keep us strong. Together, we will continue to fight this virus.
In the following pages, we profile some of the generous donors who have supported our pandemic response, and some of the healthcare heroes who have come together to serve our community with unquestioning selflessness. We also share stories about just a few of the patients who have received world-class care here during the COVID-19 pandemic. Contributions from special friends like you make this care possible. Today, we continue to do all we can to ensure the safety of our community. Please remain vigilant and take all precautions. If you go out, wear a mask and maintain physical distance. On behalf of everyone at Huntington Hospital, and of all those we serve, thank you. We hope you enjoy reading this issue of Advocate and learning more about the ways your giving matters during these challenging times.
