---------------------------------------------------------------Welcome to Half Hollow Hills Presenter: Dawn Puleo October 8, 2013 10:00 am This training will provide an overview of special education programs and services offered within the district. Programs K-12 will be covered as well as explanations of related service models. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about programs and services during a question and answer period.

The New DSM-5 Presenter: Kim Polak October 22, 2013 10:00 am Participants will identify the background and uses of the DSM-5 in order to gain a better understanding of the changes and additions in the new criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss how the Severity Levels manifest in children and help match students services.

Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities Presenter: Elaine Bova October 30, 2013 7:00pm – 8:30pm Parents will gain helpful information for planning their child’s transition from high school to the adult world.

Topics will include:  OPWDD  Social Security Income  Medicaid  ACCES
