---------------------------------------------------------------Effective Prompting Strategies Wednesday, November 28 10:00-11:00am Effective prompting strategies are crucial in skill development across all areas from academic tasks to social skills and daily living skills. Participants will learn to how choose, implement and fade prompts based on the skill they aim to teach.

USING VISUAL SUPPORTS Wednesday, December 12 10 am -12pm Many students with autism benefit from the use of visual supports throughout the day. Visual supports eliminate the need for repeated verbal prompts and make support easier to fade. This training will provide participants with strategies on how to develop, implement and fade visual supports across a variety of situations.

Activity Schedules Thursday, January 17, 2013 10:00am-11am Activity schedules can be a useful tool for children with autism during many different activities, from planning leisure time to completing the morning routine and scheduling a trip into the community. This training will provide participants with strategies for making and using schedules for children with varying needs and abilities. Strategies from the task analysis, visual support and prompting trainings will be incorporated into this training
