AQUA HUB PROJECT
LIVE - WORK HOUSING PROJECT AMID COVID - 19 LOCKDOWN
The Aqua Hub is an innovative housing project designed amid the COVID-19 lockdown, addressing the evolving needs for live-work spaces in a dynamic urban context. Located near Beirut Port, the project leverages its proximity to water and sea life to create a serene and inspiring environment.
The design concept draws inspiration from the natural form of a shell, translating its organic structure into a model of architectural articulation. The project consists of three interconnected modules designed for studios and family spaces. These modules are seamlessly wrapped and merged, forming a cohesive and holistic housing complex that integrates private and public realms.
The elevated design creates a sense of openness, with public spaces and entrances woven into the structure Aqua Hub embodies a blend of functionality and fluidity, offering a unique response to the challenges of urban living while fostering connection and adaptability in a postpandemic world.

RETHINKING HOUSING TYPOLOGY

This project explores a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Lebanese house through a series of transformative design steps. The resulting structure balances heritage with modernity, creating a functional and innovative living space By introducing spatial separation, streamlined roof geometry, and integrated circulation, the design fosters openness and accessibility. Strategic modifications, such as a flat, cantilevered roof platform and an Lshaped buffer zone, address both legal constraints and functional needs This typological shift redefines the essence of the Lebanese house while respecting its cultural and contextual roots.

KLOSTERASSE MONASTERY INTERVENTIONS

Ruin of the Franziskaner-Klosterkirche on Klosterstraße in Berlin-Mitte is a historic landmark steeped in history. Originally built around 1250, the church was destroyed during World War II, leaving behind its evocative ruins. This project envisioned a timeless architectural intervention, accompanied by detailed execution drawings, to honor and preserve its legacy.
The design introduces a reflective glass structure that seamlessly interacts with the ruins, mirroring the church’s form both inside and out. This intervention serves as an exhibition space, showcasing and safeguarding the church's artifacts. By blending reflection and preservation, the design creates a powerful dialogue between the past and the present, ensuring the legacy of the FranziskanerKlosterkirche endures
