"DOUBLE EXCELLENT"

I am delighted and hugely proud that Heywood achieved the highest possible rating from ISI in our most recent inspection. The report highlights the successful mix of excellent facilities, highly qualified and passionate teachers, together with motivated and curious children. ISI’s inspection team concluded that pupils of all abilities make excellent progress, encouraged by past-paced teaching, in a supportive learning environment which encourages excellent standards of behaviour and recognises the importance of kindness.
