OPERATOR’S STATION
d WARNING: Before starting the engine, return the F-N-R lever to neutral (N) position, apply the parking brake, and lock the loader control lever and the auxiliary control lever (optional). Refer to the descriptions in the “OPERATING ENGINE“ chapter for the detail information.
d WARNING: Never turn key switch (1) OFF while traveling the machine. Failure to do so may cause steering wheel and brakes are out of control, possibly creating a dangerous situation. Failure in the electrical system and/or base machine may result.
A : HEAT(Preheat)
B : OFF(Engine Off )
C : ON(Engine On)
D : START(Engine Start)
eco Mode Switch
When eco mode switch (2) is turned ON, HST pump and motor control programs are changed in order to prevent rapid increase of the engine speed. This function helps to reduce fuel consumption.
When eco mode switch (2) is turned ON, orange light (3) comes ON.
Ride Control Switch (Optional)
Ride control switch (1) damps the vertical vibration of the front attachment during travel operation so that comfortable machine ride quality is obtained. As stable drive operation is achieved, bucket load spill can be reduced.
d WARNING: When operating the machine with the front attachment in the float position (scooping, grading, or snow removal), always turn ride control switch (1) OFF. Failure to do so may allow the front attachment to unexpectedly move up or down when the ride control system is activated.
d WARNING: When operating the front attachment while the ride control is activated, sufficiently reduce the machine travel speed. If impact loads is applied to the front attachment, high pressure may apply to the ride control accumulator, possibly resulting in gas leakage.
Ride Control Operation
d WARNING: To ensure safety, operate ride control switch (1) only after parking the machine with the bucket lowered to the ground.
When the ride control switch (1) is turned ON, the travel speed sensor and the controller is activated. Then, when the travel speed becomes faster than 10 km/h (6.2 mph), the ride control system automatically operates. When the travel speed becomes slower than 8 km/h (5.0 mph), the ride control system becomes inoperable.
When ride control switch (1) is turned ON, green lamp (2) of the switch and ride control indicator (3) on the monitor display comes ON.
When ride control switch (1) is turned OFF, green lamp (2) of the switch and ride control indicator (3) on the monitor display goes OFF and ride control does not operate.
When the key switch is in the OFF position, the ride control system does not operate even if ride control switch (1) is turned ON. When the engine is stopped while ride control switch (1) ON, the ride control is turned OFF.
