OPERATOR’S STATION

Is used to operate the lift arm and/or bucket.

(C) Float:The lift arm free falls and can be moved as loads are applied.

(B) Lift Arm Lower

(N) Hold:The lift arm and bucket are stopped and held in that position.

(A) Lift Arm Raise fNOTE: After dumping the bucket, when loader control lever (1) is pulled further from the TILT position (D), the lever is held in that position (G). Then, as soon as the bucket is tilted up to the position set by the bucket auto-leveler, loader control lever (1) is automatically returned to the HOLD position (N).

(E) Bucket Dump:The bucket is tilted forward to dump the bucket load.

(D) Bucket Tilt:The bucket is tilted back, taking the transportation position.

(G) Detent:When the loader control lever is moved from the bucket dump position to the bucket tilt position, the loader control lever is maintained in this position.

Lever Locks

d WARNING: When locking the loader control lever and the auxiliary control lever (optional), securely shift lever locks (2) and (4) to the LOCK position. Unless lever locks (2), (4) are fully moved to the LOCK position, the control levers are not locked, possibly creating a hazardous situation.

Before leaving the operator’s seat, be sure to stop the engine. Then, move lever locks (2), (4) to the LOCK position.

Always check to be sure that the lever locks are moved to the LOCK position before: fNOTE: Auxiliary control lever (3) and lever lock (4) are optional.

• Transporting the machine.

• Leaving the machine at the end of the shift.

Refer to section 5-2 for details.

Lever locks (2), (4) are provided to prevent the machine is unexpectedly operated even if the operator mistakenly comes in contact with loader control lever (1) or auxiliary control lever (3) (optional) when getting on or off the machine. When loader control lever (1) and auxiliary control lever (3) (optional) are placed to the UNLOCK position, the levers become operable.
