Caution ・ Be sure to stop the engine before beginning work. ・ Be sure to inspect the wire rope and other lifting equipment before beginning work. ・ Do not stand or pass under the suspended load.

Items to prepare •Wrenches (19 mm, 24 mm, 36 mm) •Hexagon wrenches (5 mm, 12 mm) •Box wrenches (19 mm, 24 mm) •Specialty adapter for vacuum pump connection •Vacuum pump (vacuum pump power supply) •Extension cable •Marking pen •Cap •Plug •Wire rope (with the required breaking load) •Liftcrane (with the required lifting capacity) •Wood planks, etc. •Rag •Cleaning fluid 1.Removal of center joint [1] Use a hexagon wrench (5 mm) to remove the 4 bolts (1), and then remove the air breather (2) on the hydraulic oil tank.

[2] Attach the specialty adapter (3) to the area where the air breather was removed, and set the vacuum pump (4).

Create negative pressure in the hydraulic oil tank using the vacuum pump.

[3] Use a box wrench (24 mm) to remove the 12 bolts (5), and then remove the center under cover (6) and side under covers (7).

[4] Prepare a waste oil can (8) to receive the oil that spills out under the center joint.

[5] Use a hexagon wrench (12 mm) to remove the flange (9), and then remove the travel hoses (10). [6] Use a wrench (36 mm) to remove the drain hoses (11) and a wrench (19 mm) to remove the pilot hoses (12). •Mark the center joint and hoses so that the connectors match at the time of assembly. •Attach caps or plugs to the center joint and hoses to prevent any entry of water, dust or dirt. •Clean the center joint and hoses by spraying them with a parts cleaner to prevent scratches and prevent dirt from accumulating on the connectors. [7] Use a wrench (19 mm) to remove the pilot hose (13) and a wrench (36 mm) to remove the drain hose (14). •Attach caps or plugs to the center joint and hoses to prevent any entry of water, dust or dirt. •Clean the center joint and hoses by spraying them with a parts cleaner to prevent scratches and prevent dirt from accumulating on the connectors.

[8] Use a wrench (24 mm) to remove the 3 bolts (15), and then remove the center joint lock bar (16).

[9] Use a hexagon wrench to remove the flange (17), and then remove the 4 travel hoses (18). •Mark the hoses so that the connectors can be matched during assembly. •Attach caps or plugs to the hoses to prevent any entry of water, dust or dirt. •Clean the hoses by spraying them with a parts cleaner to prevent scratches and prevent dirt from accumulating on the connectors.

[10]Wrap wire ropes (19) around the center joint and suspend it with a liftcrane so that the center joint does not fall during removal and installation operations.

[11]Use a wrench (19 mm) to remove the 4 center joint bolts (20) and 5 washers.

[12]Use the wire ropes (19) and liftcrane to lift the center joint (21). [13]Thoroughly check that the location is safe before lowering the center joint on wood planks.

2.Installation of center joint [1] Perform the reverse of the removal procedure. [2] Installation bolt tightening torque •Lock bar (2) installation bolt (3): 267 - 312 N•m (Loctite #262 coating) •Center joint installation bolt (1): 54 - 64 N•m (Loctite #262 coating)
