CHECKING THE CHARGING CIRCUIT
1 – Static control values (engine off) 450 SEF-R.
Battery voltage > 12.5V.
A – Stator windings resistance values :
Y1-Y2 Y2-Y3 Y1-Y3 0.44Ω±10%
B – Resistance of the engine speed sensor : 117Ω±10%
Check that there is no continuity between the windings and the mass of the motorbike.
2 – Dynamic control values :
Engine speed sensor :
1.7V MIN/300 RPM. 120V MAX/10000 RPM.
Tension regulator :
Alternative (AC 200V caliber). Idle : 22V ±2V. At 6000 RPM : 77V±3V.
Direct :
On regulator output (DC 20V caliber). At 4000 RPM : 14.6V + Red/White, - Green.
Alternator :
Tolerance values = -5% /+10%.
