Opening

1.Unlatch the hood control access door. NOTE: The hood control access door may be locked with the ignition switch key. 3.Raise the hood until the safety rod locks into position.

BD01E042 2.Pull the hood release lever to unlatch the hood.

Closing

1.Raise the hood slightly, pull the rod back and then lower the hood. 2.Secure the hood control access door and lock it into position.

WARNING: Before undertaking any travel, make sure the hood is properly closed.
