Monitoring grapple: Activate camera C

Adjust the monitor image so that you can see the working tool.

Adjusting camera:

The cameras for the machine can be accessed from the platform. To access the camera at the stick, you might need some auxiliary equipment. Use only suitable devices (e.g. lifting platform).

The camera is encased in a protective cover. The screws are accessible through openings in the protective cover.

Lower the working attachment and thus the camera attached to the stick to the lowest possible position.

Switch off the diesel engine and push the safety lever upwards. Loosen the screws.

Turn the camera to the desired angle. Tighten the screws.

Switch on the monitor and check the image. If necessary, readjust the camera position.

Note!

Depending on the equipment, the stick might feature several mounting points for the camera. The mounting point for the camera must suit the working tool you wish to use.

If the camera needs to be attached to another position on the stick, contact the LIEBHERR customer service centre.

3.3.3Starting machine

3.3.3.1General

Note!

When using the machine above a certain height above sea level and at low ambient temperatures, the performance and the service life of the diesel engine with turbo charger is considerably reduced. Under such conditions, there is an increased risk of overheating of the coolant circuit and the hydraulic oil.

If necessary, reduce the engine power (performance mode).

Also pay close attention to the engine and hydraulic oil temperature.

3.3.3.2Tasks to be completed prior to machine start

Caution!

A fire can only be extinguished, if it is accessible.

Before starting the machine, open all locks of the hydraulic excavator panels. In the event of a fire, these doors can than be opened without delay to extinguish the fire.

Positions of the locks: see chapter "Maintenance".

Caution!

When the tasks listed below are completed and the machine is already at operating temperature, there is risk of injury from scalding by hot coolant or oil.

Before completing the tasks described below, read the respective sections in chapter "Maintenance".

Before starting the machine, carry out the following routine procedure: openings.

3.3.3.3Deactivating the electronic immobiliser (optional equipment)

On request, the machine can be equipped with an electronic immobiliser.

Prior to start-up the electronic system checks whether the ignition key code is correct. If this is the case, the control system is enabled.
