Note!

For safety reasons, the switch 1 key and the ignition key cannot be separated.

Normal use of the cable drum

Automatic mode selection

The automatic mode allows a winding and unwinding fitted to the translation of the machine and a controlled tension on the power cable. Ensure that nobody is in the operating area of the machine, of the cable drum or of the power cable. Push the safety lever up. Switch off the motor. Remove the ignition key.

Danger!

When automatic mode is being selected, there may be an unexpected movement of the cable drum.

On the outside control box, turn the switch 1 to position 11 to select the automatic mode.

Remove the key.

Setting the cable drum into operation

Ensure that the off-switch 4 on the outside control box is released. The cable drum control touches are on the right control desk of the cab. Switch on the motor of the machine. Press the 0 key.

The control of the cable drum is initialized. Press the I key. The cable drum is switched on.

Using the machine with the cable drum

Caution!

There is a hazard of driving on the power cable with the machine tracks or to snatch it because of excessive tension.
