2. DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY

<Remove of the gear case (LH) ASSY>

1. Remove the blades.

2. Remove the spring pin of the universal joint.

3. Remove the universal joint.

4. Remove the shaft cover.

5. Shift the snap ring both LH and RH (40) to inside, and shift the coupling (39) to remove the joint shaft.

<Disassemble of the gear case (LH) ASSY>

6. Remove the 4 piaces of nut (36) and 4 piaces of SW (35), take off the gear case from the mower deck.

7. Remove the level plug and oil filter plug (2) and drain oil.

8. Remove the seal cap (23).

9. Remove the snap ring (18).

10. Remove the oil seal (22), remove the snap ring (21).

11. * Take off the shaft from the seal cap (23) side with hitting the shaft.

12. Remove the bearing (20) from the shaft (16).

13. Loosen the 4 piaces of bolts (34), take off blade metal (24).

14. Take off the bevel gear (41).

15. Remove the bevel gear (15) from the shaft (25).

16. Remove the snap ring (27).

17. Remove the oil seal (30), remove the snap ring (28)

18. Take out the shaft (25) with hitting it.

19. Remove the bearings (26, 28) from the shaft (25) and blade metal (24).

20. Loosen the 4 piaces of blades (11), and take off the input metal with the input shaft (4) and the bearing (5).

21. Take out the bevel gear (13).

22. Remove the bevel gear (12) from the input shaft (4).

23. Remove the oil seal (7).

24. Remove the snap ring (6).

25. Remove the input shaft (4) and bearing (5) from the input metal (3).

26. Remove the bearing (5) from the input shaft (4).

27. Remove the O-ring (8).

28. Remove the bearings (17, 19) from the bevel case (1).
