3.1.7 Safety features on the machine

•Only operate the machine with all safety devices mounted and in the protective position. •Never engage universal drive shafts without guards in place. •Use safety chains to prevent the power take-off shaft guards from rotating with the shaft. •Remount protective guards after maintenance work.

3.1.8 What to do in the event of hazardous situations and accidents

Contact with hazardous substances by: Inhalation –Supply fresh air to affected persons and consult a doctor depending on the symptoms. –Remove people from the danger zone. Contact with eyes –Rinse with abundant water for several minutes.

If necessary, consult a doctor. Contact with skin –Always wash with abundant water and soap; immediately remove soiled, drenched articles of clothing, if there is skin irritation (reddening, etc.) consult a doctor. Swallowing –Do not induce vomiting; see a doctor immediately.
