Make sure the feeder housing is securely supported. Carefully move the machine backwards. (Fig.12)

Installing the feed rake

Carefully move the machine forwards. Insert the bolts(L) on both sides and secure them with nuts. Securely tighten the nuts. Attach the cutting height indicator (G) and the magnetic pick-up (I). (Fig.13)

Setting the magnetic pick-up: Using a valve gauge with a gap measuring 1.5±0.5mm set the magnetic pick-up (I) and secureinto the support using the lock nuts. (Fig.14)

Attach all cutterbar cylinders to the feed rake using bolts (B) and secure using 5 x 32 split pins. (Fig.15)

Raise the feed rake.

DANGER!

Stop the engine and switch off the battery isolating switch.

Unscrew the earth cable (M). Secure the feed plate (C) using the rod (N). Secure the rod (N) using the hex. bolts (R). (Fig.16)

Connect the hydraulic hoses (L). Screw the retainer plate (H) into place. (Fig.17)

Connect cable (A) to the electric motor. Secure the cable using the cable clip (S) and the mounting clip (B). (Fig.18,19)
