Cylinders

The boom, stick, and bucket use dual acting cylinders. The boom has a snubber for the rod end, while the stick uses snubbers on the rod and head end.

Snubbers slow the speed of the cylinder as the cylinder reaches the end of the cylinder stroke.

As the boom or stick cylinder moves to the end of the extension stroke, oil in the passage will be restricted by the snubber, which will slow the cylinder speed down.

As the stick cylinder moves to the end of the retraction stroke, oil in the passage will be restricted by the snubber, which will slow the cylinder speed down.
