Umbrella Lock Messages

These displays are shown when the Umbrella Lock zone is initiated or moved. They only display for Key-time and then they go away.

Umbrella activated. Not for maintenance!! Umbrella Lock is not intended for maintenance; use the black Local Lockout or Maintenance Lock..

Umbrella activated. For travel only!! Umbrella is intended only for traveling across face; not for maintenance.

When shields are first included in the Umbrella Lock zone, a short audible warning will sound. When moving the Umbrella Lock zone causes some shields to be released (i.e., no longer within the zone), those shields will provide an audible warning that the Umbrella Lock no longer covers those shields. This warning is longer than the new-Umbrella Lock warning and the Umbrella Lock restrictions are not actually released until the warning sound is completed.

M a i n t e n a n c e L o c k

The Maintenance Lock is a modified Umbrella Lock in which no automatic or remote functions of any kind are allowed to operate. While active, only single man-in-place manual functions will be allowed.
