Steering Control Valve
STEERING CONTROL VALVE
The orbital steering valve controls the direction of flow of oil to and from the steering cylinder. This is achieved at a metered rate and is unaffected by pump flow. The steering cylinder valve is fitted with relief valves, set at 20.68 MPa (3000 psi) to provide pressure relief for the cylinder in the event of an excessive external force.
No routine servicing is required on the steering control valve assembly other than routine checking for the presence of oil leaks. A service kit is available for seal and spring replacement and is detailed in the FBL-10 Parts Manual.
