Lubrication
IMPORTANT! The is equipped with a central lubrication system that allows several lubrication points to be lubricated from a central point. In addition, there are several smaller lubrication manifolds on the machine.
The central lubrication manifold (Fig. 43) is located on the right hand side of the receiving end of the feeder breaker. This allows the following to be easily lubricated from a central point; head shaft bearings, breaker shaft, tail shaft, and tail shaft bearings.
Mounted directly beneath the central lubrication manifold is the head shaft bearing seal lubrication manifold (Fig. 43). The Taconite seals on the head shaft bearings are lubricated from this manifold.
The tailpiece belt pulley manifold (Fig. 43) is located beside the belt pulley on the right hand side of the machine. Both tailpiece belt pulley bearings are lubricated from this manifold.
The conveyor motor lubrication manifold (Fig. 43) is located below the heat exchanger on the right hand side of the machine. The manifold is used to lubricate the bearings on the electric conveyor motor.
The breaker motor lubrication manifold (Fig. 43) is located to the left of the primary operator’s station on the right hand side of the machine and is used to lubricate the electric breaker motor’s bearings.
