• The cleaning effect can be reinforced by adding cleaning agents.

It must be carefully ensured that the cleaning agent does not damage/attack the cooler materials (a ph value of 4 – 8 is required).

• The water jet should be vertically directed on the cooler surface from a minimum distance of 50 to 100 mm

• The water jet must be fanned-out to at least 20 mm.

• The water pistol should be held at the side and the water should be sprayed from the bottom to the top through the cooler; more specifically, starting at the outside at the highest point of the radiator. The water drains through the drain pipe and hose at the

DCC.

The cooling liquid level is checked at the equalization reservoir. At 25°C the liquid level must be at the mark provided. When required (liquid level below the mark or an alarm signal from the control unit), then the appropriate cooling medium must be topped-up by removing the cover in the equalization reservoir. The following steps must be carried-out: • Remove the overflow hose at the cover of the equalization reservoir

• Open the equalization reservoir cover

Warning

The cooling system may be under pressure! The cooling medium can reach temperatures of up to 60°C. Danger of burning! Always carefully and slowly open the cover of the equalization reservoir to ensure slow pressure equalization!

• Top-up the cooling liquid to the mark provided using a suitable container

• Re-close the cover of the equalization reservoir

• Re-attach the overflow hose and correctly tighten the hose clamp (3 Nm tightening torque)
