Information regarding the commissioning and operation of the converter unit is provided in the instruction manual for the vehicle.

WARNING

Only qualified personnel may commission the equipment. The general information in section 2 must be observed with special attention to the warnings.

Check the following before commissioning the equipment.

• Check the container for damage. • Check that the container is tightly bolted to the vehicle. • Check that the fans have the correct direction of rotation. • Check that the air intake and outlet openings are not obstructed. • Check that all electrical connections are tight. • Check that all grounding connections are tight. • Check that all covers have been correctly closed. • Check all control connections are fitted and tight.

Before commissioning converter equipment that has been stored for an extended period of time, the following additional measures must be taken.

• Check the non-ventilated sections for dirt and proper look. • Clean the ventilated section and the components located there. • Clean the contactor contacts. • Check the electrical connections, connectors and grounding connections for corrosion. • Observe chapter ("Long-Time Storage“).
