2.3.5 Suggestions and Precautions

• Hold the components while removing them and take care that no nuts, bolts and screws fall off in the process. • Always aside the components and tools and keep it in place after usage. • Type of bolt is to be taken as hexagonal (grade 8.8) if not specified. • Always mark torque points with permanent marker pen, after applying torque. • Always erase torque marking after removal of hardware. • Wear ESD shoes and apron while working with Electrostatic Sensitive Devices. • Use Loctite (Grade-242) for locking screws and threads. • For an assembly with multiple screws and bolts provide the specified torque in stepped manner. • For details of tools refer to annexure 8.1 Special tools. • Torque wrenches used have the torque range of 0-100 Nm • Always use new high tension (HT) spring washers. • All tools and torque values are as per DIN 25201 and RTBT 3047 • For position nos. of material given refer to the assembly drawings and partlists. • Always make and check the electrical connections as per the circuit diagram.
