All Wheel Steer System (AWS)

The All Wheel Steer (AWS) system is similar to what was used on the "C" Series machines.

Operation of the AWSvalve is the same. The major differences between the models are:

- Since the "D" Series AWS system uses non-boosted brakes, a steering and brake resolver is no longer in the signal line between the steering priority valve and the SMU.

- Due to the reverse signal network, the lines routing between the valve sections has changed.

- The switch to control AWS has been changed to two separate buttons as shown earlier.
