Backup Power Supply The backup power supply provides emergency power to the radio receiver and the MCU, as well as for actuation of the 12VDC fire contact output, the 12VDC breaker ON contact output, and the 12VDC breaker Reset contact output.

It is supplied by the 120VAC power circuit and provides both 5VDC and 12VDC output. It provides up to 15 minutes of standby operation and has a short recharge time of 5 minutes. It has an infinite number of charge/discharge cycles and can be recharged at any temperature.

The handheld IR remote (Fig.2) is used to interface with the view screen from a remote location. The remote allows navigation through the screens and provides parameter modification capabilities.

The remote will automatically power down after 30 seconds of inactivity. It consists of six functions and one LED indicator:

LINK LED

The “LINK”LED flashes red when the remote is active (turned on). The remote will automatically power down after thirty (30) seconds of inactivity to conserve power. Any button press enables (powers on) the remote when it is inactive.

PAGE UP

The PAGE UP button moves to the preceding menu from the current menu.
