Fault and Error Messages
The machine displays faults and errors that occur during operation. Only faults that cause a motor to shutdown are logged to memory.
Error messages are displayed on a red background on the main display (Fig. 6). The radio remote cannot be used until the condition that generated the error message is corrected.
Fault messages are stored and are available for later viewing on the “FAULT LOG”menu (Fig. 7).
IMPORTANT
It is not recommended that the fault log be cleared unless the machine controller has been replaced. Retaining the faults is very helpful in troubleshooting a problem when a machine controller is sent for service. Faults cannot be retrieved once they have been cleared. Use caution and only clear the log if it is absolutely necessary.
