position. Carefully scribe the fender location of the right hand hood hinge and then remove the hinge-to- fender bolts. 8. Remove the case retaining screws and sheet metal nuts. Pull the case away from the mounting studs and inboard to remove it. 9. Remove the screws attaching the core retainers to the case and remove the core.

Installation

1. Replace the core in the case using non-hardening sealer. Attach the core with the core retainers and screws. 2. Remount the case to the firewall. 3. Replace and tighten the fender skirt attaching screws and bolts. 4. Reinstall the hood hinge bolts, aligning it carefully with the scribe marks made at removal. Check hood alignment. 5. Connect the temperature door cable to the door and replace the seal.
