CLASSIFIED KONG K276 (P)
SIRE: CANOWINDRA GOLD EDITION
DAM:
BULLAMAKINKA E155 (P)
Purchased for sale top price of $30,000 in 2015. He was selected for his growth, strong tropical outlook, length of body, clean underline and faultless temperament. We thought him to be one of the best fronted bulls we had seen for some time. He has passed these traits onto his progeny. His most outstanding attribute would have to be his calf getting ability. We joined him to 74 females in his first season, with 71 returning a positive pregnancy scan. In his second season he settled 62 out of 65 cows, all of these being wet cows with calves. He achieved another 95% preg test on his cows the following season. 50 sons have sold at auction averaging $16,530. On top of this has been numerous paddock sale bulls. Numerous sons have gone on to perform stud duties. It is however his daughters that are beginning to prove valuable. Kong(P) is showing up more and more as the sire of sale bulls’ mothers.

CLASSIFIED PATRIARCH P78 (PP)
SIRE: GREENUP DEBONAIR L206 (PS)
DAM:
GREENUP J243 (P)
Patriarch is a dark coated powerfully built homozygous poll bull. Which ever way you look at him you can’t help but admire his capacity and power. It is rare to find a bull with so much muscle that is also easy doing with the ability to lay down fat with ease. These attributes coupled with a tidy underline and large testicles have allowed him to achieve a high strike rate in his first crop of calves. He was multiply joined, with his calves being determined by DNA. With 12 sons in last years sale, plus a number in the paddock bulls, it is fair to say that he has earned his keep. The first 12 sale bulls averaged $15,667, topping at $28,000.
