Magnate was purchased in 2018 for $60,000. He was the top priced unled Santa bull for the year. A dark poll bull with an impeccable temperament. Tidy through the underline with a clean set of testicles. We were particularly attracted to his balance and structural soundness. He has grown larger than we first anticipated and appears to be injecting this growth into his calves. We retained N364 as we considered him to be the best bull of his year drop. A strong bodied horned bull with an impeccable temperament. A bull that while having a tremendous amount of growth , he also has great finishing ability. Width of frame and spring of rib are also some of his redeeming features, along with perfect feet and legs. An active, fertile sire, being represented by 15 sons in this years sale team. Unfortunately, due to coming off second best in a bull fight, we will be unable to utilise his services going forward. His first 10 sons sold to an average of $20,650, topping at $37,500.

Another sire that was purchased in 2018. He was Rebecca’s pick, and what a pick he turned out to be! Rarely do you find a strong poll sire with this amount of both muscle and finish. He also possesses great length of body and stands on strong bone. He is a true carcase sire. A dominant bull that puts a real stamp on his progeny. Due to circumstance, he did not get the opportunity that he deserved in his second joining. 6 sons are on offer in 2023, unfortunately this will be his last offering due to his unexplained death after his third joining. To date he had 10 sons sell to a top of $26,000, and average $17,111.

Top priced bull at the 2017 Wandoan Sale, purchased for $22,000. A very docile bull with an exceptional amount of carcase. You don’t see many bulls with a butt profile as good as Luke. A fine tropical skin and large scrotal are other desirable attributes of Luke. 12 sons have sold at auction to average $21,208, topping at 2022 for $67,500 to K&J Knudsen. Sons have also been retained for stud duties. These include Waverley(PS) and Winchester (P) which can be seen in the future sires section.
