Positive and Negative Themes (Open Comments)

At or above the sector mean Within 5% of the sector mean Over 5% below the sector mean

One large issue that emerged from open-text comments was a change in course structure, as it has removed a number of optional modules for students. Meanwhile, the modules that remain are seen as outdated. Other issues included unclear assignment guidelines and a delay in receiving feedback and guidance on assignments.

More positive comments concerned lecturers that were supportive and enthusiastic, as well as the opportunity for students to partake in placements. Placements in particular were praised for supporting students before, during and after their placements.
