Member Appreciation Picnic open to all! By CECILY KELLY Vice President of Member Benefits A statewide event for ALL members of Hermann Sons Life is set for Satuday, Sept. 18, at Hilltop Camp in Comfort. We were unable to hold a statewide event in 2020 because of the pandemic. So this year we decided to hold a Member Appreciation Picnic open to everyone. This will be a day to bring your family and friends, even if they are not members, and have fun at our Camp! There will be lifeguards on duty so come ready for a swim. You can play Ga-Ga, volleyball, basketball and other sports. We will have arts and crafts as well as dominoes and cards in the air-
conditioned Dining Hall. The gates will open at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served from 12:30-2 p.m. We will be holding a raffle to benefit the Comfort Volunteer Fire Department, which serves all of our Comfort properties. Tickets will only be available the day of the event. Anyone wanting to donate an item for the raffle may do so no later than Sept. 1. There is no charge to attend. However, we need a head count for food so please reserve a ticket on our website store for each person. Deadline to do that is Sept. 11. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at this event! If you need more information contact the Home Office.
