Our mission is to uphold the goals set forth by our thirteen founding mothers. We pledge to formalize, cultivate and foster bonds amongst each other as sisters and abide by respect, trust, communication, professionalism and accountability.

Annual Founders’ Banquet

It is our pleasure to offer your company a great opportunity to become a valuable sponsor of our National Convention and 25th Annual Founders' Banquet this year. Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. will be hosting these events the weekend of Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Washington, D.C. The National Convention portion of the weekend will take place on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th and it will consist of members-only activities. The Executive Board will discuss all organizational changes and accomplishments from 2014-2015 and members will have access to an array of enriching workshops and professional development sessions.

The banquet, which will take place on Saturday, September 26th, 2015 is open to members, family, friends, supporters and the general public. It will be an evening of celebration that will include dinner, a keynote speaker, our annual awards presentation, a silent auction, dancing and much more. The banquet will also raise funds for our Excelen-SIA scholarship.

We anticipate over 300 guests comprised of undergraduate and alumni members, family, colleagues and fellow Greek members. We will benefit greatly from your generous donations and contributions. As a valuable sponsor, your company logo will be showcased during the weekend, displayed on our national website and circulated in a press release to our members and the general public. You can also suggest your company logo for the advertisement of this program.

On behalf of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. and its National Executive Board, I am excited to invite you to join us for our 25th Founders Day Celebration to take place September 26th, 2015 in Washington DC.

Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. is a national organization whose mission is to promote sisterhood, leadership, academic excellence and the increased awareness of the Latino culture. Over the past 25 years, SIA has expanded to over 16 states nationwide. Service being one of our main focuses as an organization, we work with Children’s International and Camp Heartland as well as many local organizations to give back to our communities. As our organization continues to grow, we continue to work towards the ideals and goals set forth by our 13 founding mothers.

During our Founders Celebration members will reunite nationwide to take part in a weekend of sister bonding activities, to conduct business, and for leadership development opportunities. In this proposal, we present you with the opportunity to take part in our progressive movement focused on the development of our members and future leaders by considering sponsorship towards our weekend activities. It is through financial support that we hope to succeed in meeting the needs of our membership in this annual gathering.
