HERLUFSHOLM CLOTHING

School hours

The shared dress code at Herlufsholm School has deep roots in our history – going all the way back to the 1800s – and the principles behind it are more relevant now than ever, as we place particular emphasis on well-being, learning, and sustainability.

The purpose of the shared guidelines is to create a visible expression of community and shared values, and above all, to provide an equal foundation for the development of individual talents and personality.

The attire maintains a classic and simple look in dark or medium blue, as well as dark or medium grey, unless otherwise specified.

Clothing must be solid-colored, without checks, stripes, or large logos.

All clothing should be well-maintained, clean, and appropriately fitted. We expect students to take general care in their appearance and to be well-groomed. Clothing must be worn properly, and hair should be neat and in natural colors.

Piercings in the ears are permitted. Tattoos must not be visible during the school day.

The school’s official clothing supplier is Mister in Næstved. Mister offers guidance on purchasing school attire and has established a basic package for both boarding and day students. Should additional items be required beyond the basic package, Mister is available to assist. To ensure a smooth process, fittings and purchases should be scheduled as early as possible.

It is important that all clothing brought to school is labeled with the student’s name. Name tags can be ordered from Mister, who will also sew the name into all clothing purchased at the store.
