Internship Program 2019 "Rural Heritage & Traditional Food" "HeritageForAll" initiative has the pleasure to inform you that for the second time, we offer a number of internship vacancies during the upcoming summer vacation.

We require TEN interns. Those will do their task along six months (July – December 2019).

Responding to the WH annual theme, the main theme of Internship program 2019 “Rural Heritage & Traditional Food”. Therefore, the interns – as a researcher in cultural heritage “Tangible & Intangible” - are in charge of the following tasks, under the responsibility of an initiative founder. An intern is responsible monthly for writing the blog articles and doing online short lectures or recorded videos which to cover the following themes: 1- Built Vernacular Heritage 2- Heritage Preservation and Rural Communities 3- Revitalization of Rural Heritage landscapes 4- Documentation of Intangible Rural Traditions and Practices 5- Management of Tangible Rural Heritage 6- Rural Cultural Food Tourism 7- Rural Development and Tourism 8- The Cultural Significance of Rural Identity to the Upcoming Generations 9- Public Sector Policies and Its Impact on the Rural Communities 10- Globalization and Traditional Agricultural Practices, Techniques and Markets 11- The Expected Threats to Small-scale Farm Heritage Land Use For more details and apply for an internship: https://forms.gle/igtCcqop34rgVRjt7 Deadline of application: 07 June 2019

Training Course - Heritage Management Principles (7 - 20 July 2019) For young researchers, junior architects, historic building-based museum curators and archaeologists, the Egypt Exploration Society (EES) announce a new training course "Heritage Management Principles" (7-20 July 2019, British Council Egypt) that will be moderated by the heritage management professional and the founder of HeritageForAll Initiative, Mr. Mohamed Badry. Training course defines, within seven sessions, the features of managing the heritage sites in general and the world heritage sites in particular through some thematic discussions: World Heritage Nomination, Heritage Management Process, Heritage Conservation through "Legislation", Tourism and Heritage Marketing, and Human-induced Impact Assessment Process.
