HG: What are your biggest goals for 2025, both personally and professionally?
AJ: For 2025, my biggest personal goal is to continue focusing on my hobbies and those that bring me joy Lately, I’ve been exploring baking, and I want to invest in some classes and dive deeper into perfecting bread recipes; baking has become such a creative and fulfilling outlet for me. I’m also committed to investing in my personal growth, health, and wellness. In the work that I do, it’s easy to fall into patterns of selfneglect, so I prioritize nurturing my mind, body, and spirit to ensure I show up as my best self. Professionally, I want to continue growing my online platform and community. Writing meaningful content for my blog and building my YouTube platform are big priorities. I also want to pour more into my business, Dvn Oasis, more than I ever have in the past years. My goal is to create impactful resources and connect with women globally to inspire and support them on their journeys to intentional living and self-discovery.
HG: If you could collaborate with any brand or individual, who would be on your wishlist of potential clients or partnerships?
AJ: If I could collaborate with any brand or individual, my wishlist would include Savannah James and her business partner, April McDaniel, and their incredible new venture, Let It Break Their mission and focus on mental, physical, and spiritual wellness beautifully align with my vision Their work is so intentional and impactful, and I’d be honored to partner with them one day I’d also love to collaborate with local Bay Area or Los Angeles wellness studios to host in-person workshops. I'm deeply passionate about building community and creating spaces where women can connect and grow together. Another dream collaboration would be with Nespresso. My love for coffee runs deep, and my YouTube series, The Coffee Corner, is a nod to how much coffee has become a part of my creative process and intentional living. I’ve been a loyal Nespresso fan for the past 5-6 years, exclusively using their coffee machines and products at home. Partnering with them would truly be a full-circle moment and an absolute blessing.
HG: Do you have any upcoming networking events, workshops, or speaking engagements on your calendar that you’re excited about?
AJ: I’m planning exciting workshops and content for the upcoming year through my brand, Dvn Oasis. While I don’t have any scheduled networking events or speaking engagements confirmed just yet, I’m focused on expanding my reach and creating opportunities to connect with like-minded women in 2025.
I’m especially excited about releasing a few new written projects that will launch in the Spring of this year. This launch will include a series of events, product launches, and workshops focused on intentional living, self-discovery, and empowerment It’s an exciting time, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with others and continuing to build a community that thrives on authenticity and purpose
HG: What’s one business, brand, or entrepreneur you’d like to give a shoutout to, and why?
AJ: I actually have two incredible women I’d like to shout out to: my good friends Shelby Christie and Dr Nadia Anderson. Shelby is a Fashion and Costume Historian, published author, and the CEO and Founder of her new venture, Haute Heritage Publishing. She’s breaking boundaries in her field and making history with her work. Nadia is a doctor in her second year of residency here in the Bay Area and also runs her own business focused on holistic wellness. She’s a shining example of someone who integrates passion and purpose to make a meaningful impact. Both of these women inspire me daily to be bold in my creative pursuits. They’re not just exceptional in their work but also exemplify what true sisterhood means. Their intention, honesty, and constant encouragement remind me of the power of community and investing in the women around us I’m grateful for their support and inspired by how they show up and show out in the world.
