To complement your Doctoral Regalia, the traditional choice is an 8-sided Black Velvet Tam. Doctoral Tams are also available in various degree colors and can be 4 or 6-sided.
The Mortarboard is light in weight and has a soft folding crown. A stiff-crown model is also available. The reinforced edges prevent any warping and provide extra durability. Available in exact sizes, the crown is quilted for added comfort and is the perfect choice to complement any academic regalia. Mortarboards are typically worn with Bachelor and Master Regalia with a black tassel. For degree recipients interested in a color other than black, degree colors tassels are available.
