Modern tradi onal architecture is a combina on term a rc h i t e c t u ra l c o n c e p t s f ro m 2 d i e re n t p o i n t s o f v i e w.

Tradi onal means mindset that is believed according to exis ng norms and customs from me immemorial or with o t h e r w o r d s a r e h e r e d i t a r y. M o d e r n h a s m e a n i n g something new and priori zes something innova on there are star ng from technology and forms that can be said developed by humans themselves. Merging 2 concepts This results in a new form of technology making people aware of innova on and certainly not forge ng previous norms and customs that remain a ached to the concept.

This concept aims to make people believe in something good innova on in other words do not get bored with the same thing but not forget the norms and customs that can be used as a character.

Site selec on to meet the terms and condi ons regarding type A terminals to be established is Site Loca on located on Jl. Wonogiri Ngadirojo, to the west of the type B terminal which will be developed. The site has an area of 34,500 m2 or 3.5 hectares.

The concept that will be raised in the planning of terminal development is the concept of modern tradi onal architecture. The ini al form is a block that will be the bo om mass that will be mixed between one beam and another beam. The purpose of choosing beams is easy to apply and s ll has good aesthe cs when exploring monotonous beam shapes by combining several blocks. The second form is the mass of the cover or top of the building using the tradi onal Javanese roof form, the joglo roof. The concept of tradi onal architecture is combined to be a good aesthe c and become an element of local culture through architectural forms.

The selected site is at Jl. Wonogiri-Ngadirojo which is a provincial route that connects Central Java and East Java, namely Ponorogo and Pacitan.

From the analysis of the sun and wind it can be concluded that the facades need to be in the east and west to reduce the high intensity of light and the openings in the south and north are needed to fulďŹ ll the air within the building

the site is located south of the road and therefore everyone will see the building from the highway

ME is placed in the north in order to facilitate circula on.

Determina on of the entrance to the east and the exit is used to facilitate departure because the site is on the south side of the road. The choice of entry and exit is based on the very high passenger departure requirements.

Loca on of the site is on the south of the highway and facing the north of the road then the analysis of the morning sun in the east site and the a ernoon sun in the west of the site and the wind that blows from north to south and vice versa

the loca on of the building located on the south of the highway allows it to always be seen so the priority building is facing north to convince the public that there is a good terminal building with a tradi onal concept so that the viewers are aware of the exis ng culture

The structural system for planning is to use a grid structure system.

This structure is very widely used because for its use and planning it is quite easy with materials that are easily available. The purpose of choosing a grid structure is to facilitate the determina on of space and placement of the tradi onal Javanese roof system, the joglo roof.

The roof is an element of the top cover of the building which protects the building from the intensity of sunlight and as a protec on from rain water. Considering the nature and form, the roof le material and the shape of the joglo roof are selected for aesthe cs based on the concept of modern tradi onal architecture.

the idea of shape is from the shape of a cube which makes it easy in spa al planning and good form. from this form it is very boring but if we can posi on and transform the cube into a good architectural arrangement

the structure used in this building is a grid structure that has proven its ability to sustain all moments of force that occur. this structure is also what makes it easy to arrange the space because of the shape that suits this structure

the material used in this building is wood, glass and concrete. concrete is expected to produce buildings that are sturdy in all weather and disasters. glass material is used as the u liza on of exis ng natural light so it is expected to be able to save energy during the day. the glass used is adjusted to the needs, namely for the window door and the use for sky light, adjus ng thickness. wood material is expected to produce a tropical architecture that can be seen in the wooden la ce sec on for wall par ons. in addi on to aesthe cs, they are also able to work according to func on, namely as a building facade. doors, windows using pivot hinges are expected to produce buildings that are clean and in tune with the color of the building

sun analysis in this building is the morning sun tucked to the right of the building from the front view and the a ernoon sun to the le of the building from the front view. in buildings indeed the morning sun is not well obtained. but in the a ernoon leading to high sun intensity in order to provide natural ligh ng with its many openings and windows on the le side of the building. because the intensity of the most ac vity in the a ernoon then it is priori zed for the a ernoon sun. Exis ng air analysis is that the wind usually moves from south to north and vice versa. much air can be obtained from the front view which has many openings in the sec on leading to the relaxing area and the wooden la ce is in the staircase which can circulate to the ground oor and ďŹ rst oor. Its many openings and open spaces make this an excellent accommoda on

This bathroom design contains bathroom components in general. components in the bathroom in the form of a closet, shower, sink, mirror and other storage areas. what's interes ng about this bathroom design is natural ligh ng which can use sky light with 12mm glass material.

I really like the design of this bathroom because it's good ligh ng so doing ac vi es in the bathroom more comfortable
