Harper and Cole attend reception at Arkansas Governor’s Mansion On Saturday, April 30, the Governor Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson hosted a reception at the Governor’s Mansion for the 2016 honor students from across the state. Each school is allowed only two invitations to attend the annual recep-
tion for the graduating Valedictorians and Salutatorians. Hazen had one Valedictorian and one Salutatorian this year. From Hazen, Samuel Harper, 2016 Valedictorian and his dad attended the reception. Almetia Cole, 2016 Salutatorian and her
mom attended the reception. Each student was able to take a picture with the Governor and First Lady to have as a keepsake and remember their great achievements. Congratulations to Hazen’s graduating 2016 Seniors.
