Trashformer Trashformer is a new mobile city sweeping set, combining the utilities of a trashcan, a cart and a bicycle. Current sweepers are only used for 5 to 6 hours per day, while the other times they are left in the corners of streets without serving any purposes.

By integrating trashcan with sweeper, we came up of Trashformer as our new city helper, with which the street cleaners can carry all the sweeping tools with ease and perform their duties in a wider area.

Cleaning cart (1-5) First of all,

door and keep your personal belongings there.

Then,

take out the garbage

thrown by pedestrian. Next, clip on the sweeping tools to the back of the wheeler. Open the top over to throw garbage in. Retrieve the trash bag from the front door after cleaning.

Bicycle (6-7) According to our interviews, each street cleaners are responsible for cleaning a large area. Most of them carry out their job in the mornings, and return to clean up bottles and leaflets in the afternoon.

Sweepers can ride around the city while carrying out their duties.

The theme of the project is Readymade. The unique part of this project is that conducting physical experiment made the creation process work a lot better than sketching or 3D rendering. The main topic of the project is to make a sofa out of bathtub. After deciding the main topic, I spent time of finding compatible and conflicting objects that will set off the topic bathtub well. I was trying to find a reasonable and inspiring combination to present this project and finished it within limited time. The project is now displaying in my room, inspiring me for more creation.

DonQui box In Don-Quijote, Knight mistook windmills for giants. He regarded an inn as the castle. What's more, he saw flock of sheep as enemies. The series of illusion made the story attractive. Similar to the story, Don-Qui box applies projector lamp and filters to make toys' shadow transformed. Children can guess each other's toys from the transforming shadows.

Don-Qui box will give new life to original toys.
