Arnold was born November 28, 1946 to Kyle and Bessy (Taylor) Wallen.
Arnold served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an electrician by trade and retired from Rolls Royce.
Arnold was a member of the Fillmore United Methodist Church. He loved serving at his church and Mill Pond.
Arnold is survived by his wife of 29 years JoAnn Wallen; son Michael (Lisa) Wallen; step-son Jim Trump; brother David (Susie) Wallen; grandchildren Maryn, Joshua, Brandon, Jordon, step grandchildren Elizabeth, Meridith; great grandchildren Keaton and Charlie. He was preceded by his parents, siblings, and grandson JohnMichael.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 5, from 10:30 until noon at the Fillmore United Methodist Church, 221 S Main St, Fillmore, IN. Service will be held at noon with Pastors Brian Palmer Smith and Steve Ailes officiating.
NANCY ELIZABETH BATCHELOR
age 57, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
She married Tony Batchelor and he survives.
Nancy was born October 1, 1964 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Otis L. Hayden Jr. and Audrey (Brown) Vermillion.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include a son Dillon Thompson (Sabryna), Cloverdale; daughter Faith Batchelor, Poland; granddaughters Raigan Thompson and Olivia Thompson, Cloverdale; siblings, Karen Carter (Donald), Cloverdale, Jeff Hayden (Nancy) Mt. Meridian, Julie Wilson (David), Coatesville; Evelyn Williams (Brian), Greencastle, and Mary Weed, Greencastle; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Her father preceded her. Nancy loved and was full of life. She also loved singing and karoake. A memorial services took place Tuesday, November 2, in the Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville. ROCKSAND WESTERN
46, of Indianapolis, passed away October 31, 2021.
She was born August 3, 1975 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jake M. Western; a daughter, Gabriel D. (Blake) Stevens; her parents, Pete and Sandy (Mitchell) Jones; three sisters, Mary (Arthur Stanley) Jones, Laurie Jones, and Valerie (Theodore) Davis; and a grandson, Liam Stevens.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, in the funeral home.

RONALD LEE FULTS
68, passed at 11:11 p.m. on October 21, 2021 at Hendricks County Hospital in Danville, Ind..
He was born January 22, 1953 in Indianapolis to the late J. Keith and Martha Mae (Todd) Fults. Ronnie graduated from Pike High School in 1968. He married Robin Julian in June 1990 in Indianapolis. She preceded him in death on May 8, 2011.
Throughout the years, he had a love of working, passed on from his father, and even owned his own construction business building houses. In 2005, he started working at Hagerman’s where he was currently working at the time of his death.
He loved his many animals over the years- cats, dogs, and horses. Ronald also enjoyed riding his Harley and having lunch and creating memories at the local pub where he made many lifelong friends.
He is survived by his step son, Chris Julian (Elizabeth Hyland); and his brother, George K Fults (Nancy).
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, James R Fults.
No Memorial service is planned. There will be a celebration of Ronnie’s life to be announced at a later date.

JUDY A. BEAVER
83, of Greenwood, passed away on October 31, 2021.
She was born on April 14, 1938 in Nobel, Arkansas, to the late Armit and Pearl Pugsley Greer.
Judy married Donald E. Beaver on May 11, 1957. Through their marriage they lived in many homes, in several communities, and met amazing people. They lived in the Decatur Central community long enough for all four of their daughters to graduate, and were active members of Valley Mills Christian Church.
After the children were grown they moved to Plainfield, becoming members of Plainfield Christian Church. She worked many jobs with one purpose to spoil her children. Her final job was as a sales associate for Meijer before retirement.
Judy enjoyed painting, crocheting, embroidery, family, church, shopping with her girls, and teaching the grandchildren important things in life (like to eat dessert first, it tastes better when you are hungry).
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Donald E. Beaver of Greenwood; daughters, Judith Scotten, Brenda Fahr, Lisa Taylor; sisters, Pauline Landreth, Lila Green; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Her parents; daughter, Donna Beaver; brothers, Bill, Clifton, James, Robert, Samuel Greer and 3 beloved grandchildren, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with Pastor Steve White officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service in the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.

DENNIS HANK FELIX
66 of Plainfield, passed away October 31, 2021.
He was born on January 11, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Harry N. and Dora M. (Kellems) Felix.
Dennis married Kathy Stedman on July 19, 1997 in Avon, IN and quickly established roots in Plainfield to begin their lives together, along with their daughter, Tayler. Dennis, an avid Purdue fan, music lover and committed community member, was loved by many as he always made it a point to create meaningful relationships with anyone he came across. As the owner of Premier Pest Control, you could always find him going above and beyond for his customers and business while always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. When not working, you could find Dennis meeting up with his friends for morning coffee at Goody’s or finding a reason to be with his family and those he loved. As you will hear most say, Dennis was a one-of-kind friend and he will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Felix of Plainfield; daughter, Tayler Felix (Andrew Nash); siblings, Roger Felix, Beth Heckathorn, Bruce (Donna) Felix and James (Angie) Felix.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. The service will immediately follow visitation at 7 p.m. with Pastor Gary Black officiating.

CECILE MILDRED DUGAN WENTZ
age 95, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Cecile (Cece) was born January 31, 1926 in Kyana, Indiana, to the late Roy and Georgia Dugan.
Cece grew up on a farm in rural Southern Indiana. With her father as her teacher in a one room schoolhouse, she was without electricity or plumbing until she was 13! She attended Birdseye High School for 3 years before moving to Huntingburg High School her senior year. She worked as an accounting clerk prior to getting married. Her marriage to Charles took her to live in Daytona, Florida, Knoxville, Tennessee, Huntsville, Alabama, and Titusville, Florida. They had a beautiful marriage full of laughter, music, and travel for over 40 years. A favorite trip was a steamboat cruise down the Mississippi River! They shared a love of a very special miniature poodle named Susie. Charles passed away in 2006.
Cece loved her daily crossword puzzle! She completed one each morning well into her 90s. And she adored working jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid reader, and even enjoyed audiobooks when reading became a hardship. Known for her quiet nature, she was the sweetest lady who will be dearly missed by her family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Wentz, brothers, Earl and Bob Dugan, sister-in-laws, Berniece and Joanne Dugan, nephew, Don Dugan, and nephew Joe Welsh.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Bill Dugan, nieces and nephews, Susan Welsh, Rex Dugan (Sharon), Bruce Dugan, Cindy Dugan, Karen Brodfuehrer, Joan Barber, Mark Dugan, Howard Dugan, Candy Stock; sister-in-law, Sylvia Dugan, as well as numerous great nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 East 71st Street Indianapolis, IN 46220.
CAROLYN B. PARENT
78, Brownsburg, formerly of Solon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2021.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 51 years, David Parent.
Carolyn found her joy in her family and friends.
Survivors include children David (Alicia) Parent, Craig (Amy) Parent, and Lisa (Keith Rossell); grandchildren Ben, Jackson, Owen, Elliott, Lily, Meg, Craig, and Logan; and brother Louis (Barbara) Body IV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Body III and Margaret Steele, and stepfather John Steele.
Carolyn’s cousin Janie (Randy) Hunter was raised as a sister and Carolyn was also blessed with five stepbrothers and sisters.
Carolyn was a longtime elementary school teacher and an avid crafter, stamper, and custom card maker.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Brownsburg.
Memorial services will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 575 W. Northfield Dr., Brownsburg, IN 46112, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.

JEANINE K. MALONEY
age 84, of Plainfield, passed away on October 29, 2021.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 10, 1937 to the late Donald and Grace Gregory Harwood.
Jeanine was the widow of Dr. P. Thomas Maloney. She taught at Central elementary school in Plainfield for 15 years. She was a member of Plainfield Tri Kappa and The Plainfield United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday November 4, 2021 in the Plainfield United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
Survivors include her sons, David Paul Maloney, Phillip Gregory Maloney and wife Dawn; brother, Greg Harwood; granddaughters, Kyla and Kaitlin Maloney; niece, Lynn E. Harwood.

KAREN LILLY SHEPARD
50, of Avon, passed away peacefully surrounded by family October 27, 2021 at Hendricks Regional Health from complications from the Covid virus even though she was fully vaccinated.
Karen was born in Waukegan, Illinois, May 16, 1971, to David and Virgene (Sherman) Kilbourn. On August 12, 1992 she married Kent Shepard. When the family relocated to Indiana in 1987, she finished her last two years of high school at Bethesda Christian School in Brownsburg. She graduated Cum Laude from Taylor Univeristy (Upland, Ind.) in 1993 with a dual degree in Chemistry and Biology with a minor in secondary education. She worked as a pharmacy technician and chemist for a small company before landing her dream job with Eli Lilly. She worked at the Kentucky Avenue location before transferring to Lafayette where she accepted a position as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist until 2009 when she had to give up her job due to complications from multiple sclerosis. She also enjoyed working early voting and election day polling places.
Karen was a talented pianist and singer. She enjoyed spending time with her parents and family especially during the holidays. She was an avid reader. She was a former member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.
Karen is survived by her husband, Kent; daughter, Brittany; parents, David and Virgene Kilbourn; paternal grandmother, Cora Kilbourn; aunts, Pat Rieldl, Candi (Carlos) Calvo, Kathi (Darrin) Hull and their families; uncle, Wendell (Linda) Sherman; cousins: Cory (Shannon) Sherman, Nicholas (Charissa) Sherman, Travis Sherman; father-in-law, Larry B.(Cindy) Shepard; sisters-in-law, Kim, Beth, Lisa and their families; and her beloved cats, Tiger, Tangles, Daisy and Girl.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Sean Casey Kilbourn, maternal grandparents, Virgil and Dorothy (Mason) Sherman, paternal grandfather: David B Kilbourn Sr. and Uncle: Robert Kilbourn.

FAYE P. ELMORE
a glorious 104 years of age, passed away in the early morning of October 30, 2021.
She was born in Clayton, Indiana to the late Samuel and Mary (Hill) Pettitt. Faye was a graduate of Clayton High School with the class of 1934. She married Glendon E. Elmore, he preceded her in death (07/28/1913- 09/20/1991).
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home Clayton, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery. A prior visitation will take place at Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home Clayton 4 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
So much could be said about a woman of her character and age. Unfortunately, we have limited lines to do so in this page of information. Her life will be shared by her family with the wonderful capsule of her life in the services that will follow. Faye was truly an inspiring woman and always looked forward to her next adventure. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and great great great grandmother. Faye was a fixture in her hometown, serving her community as librarian with the Clayton Library for over 25 years, a cook within the Clayton School System, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Clayton, which she first started attending with her grandmother, traveling by horse and buggy. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star and past noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge. Faye enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading and making delicious desserts for her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Lula (Elmore) Armstrong and son-in-law, Richard Armstrong of Plainfield, In., grandchildren, Sheryl (Armstrong) Bass, Mike Armstrong, Susie Cole, Jon Alexander, Judy (Alexander) Gibbs, Johnny Elmore, Amy Elmore, Bob Elmore, Kitty Kaufman, Kelly Farris, and Samantha Elmore; 27 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, 3 great great great grandchildren, and her last surviving kitty and beloved furr-baby, BB. Faye was preceded in death by her son, Sam Elmore, twin daughters, Kaye Alexander and Gaye Brown, sisters, Frances Chambers and Lula “Toots” Prether, and her brother, Burchard Pettitt.

TONYA ANNETTE PERRY
53, of Lizton, passed away on October 27, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Funeral service took place Wednesday, November 3, at Venture Church in Lizton. Tonya was laid to rest in K. of P. Cemetery in Lizton.
Tonya Perry loved her job at the Lizton Town Hall as the town’s Clerk Treasurer for over 16 years. She said she she loved being able to be a part of the town and helping it grow. She worked hard up until the Friday before her passing. She also worked at IU West Physical Therapy for five years where she had the unique ability of meeting patients with a smile on her face at 6 a.m. She left IU West in August of 2020 to work full time for the Town of Lizton.
Tonya’s most cherished job and proudest accomplishment was being a stay-at-home mom. She ran Tri-West Youth Football Cheer while her husband coached the boys and ran the Tri-West Youth Football League. Her happy place was in the passenger seat on car rides with her family to the kids’ events, to church, to see friends and family, or when going on vacation. She loved being able to look back and take a picture of all of the kids in the back seats.
She loved her trips to Wisconsin to go to Madison for Badger football games and for family fishing trips - where she didn’t fish but enjoyed being able to lay out and read on the boat. Some of her most favorite times include being able to spend time with daughter Angel and her beautiful new granddaughter, Maeleigh Jo, on her lunch break. She loved getting together for shopping days with the girls.She was an expert family craft and game night planner. She was always looking for a new family tradition to start but also keeping all the old traditions going. She lived a special life and was special to a lot of people. She was able to share her faith and testimony to anyone and everyone with a smile on her face even as she went through her battle with her ovarian cancer.
She will be celebrated by her parents, Tony and Barbara Maynard, her siblings and their spouses, Toni Anne and Dave Thaxton, Trina and Mike Cox, Robin and Candi Maynard, and her sister-in-law and her husband, Jennifer and Herbie Blevins, as well many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband, Philip Edwin Perry, married November 13th, 1993; her son and his wife, Rick and Lauren Perry; her daughter and her husband, Angel and Kevin Groves and their daughter, Maleigh; and her son and fiancée, Pk Perry and Laci Baumer.
TERRY HARSTAD
70, of Danville, passed away in the early morning on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Hendricks Regional Hospital after a brief illness. At his request, he will be cremated and services will be private.
Terry was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Gerald P. and Shirley L. (Skweres) Harstad. He grew up in Ojai, California where he became a Police Officer and Sheriff’s Deputy. Terry moved to Pahrump, Nevada where he worked in construction and met the love of his life. Terry married Shirley Barton on November 11, 2001 before moving to Danville, Indiana in 2009.
In his younger days, Terry loved riding horses and bull riding in rodeo competitions. He enjoyed working on cars and was recently working to restore a 1999 Mustang GT convertible.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Harstad; son, Jared Barton of Danville; daughter, April (Hunter) Burchett of Danville; grandchildren, Shauine and Jesse Barton, and Jade and Opal Burchett. Also surviving is his sister, Jacqueline Harstad.

RUBY A. NEIER
age 98, Avon, formerly of Coatesville, passed away Wednesday at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.
She was born in Mt. Meridian, Indiana the daughter of Noble and Mary A. Hill Allee. Ruby graduated from Belle Union High School and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Hendricks County Hospital.
She was married to the Rev. Malcolm Neier and he preceded her on July 18, 2005. She worked with her husband and supported him in his ministry. She was a active member of the Coatesville Missionary Baptist Church and was very much the matriarch of the church.
She is survived by her children, Noble Neier and wife, Sue, Coatesville, Ann Magee and husband, Max, California, and Russell Neier and wife, Cheryl, Coatesville; 8 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services took place Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Walnut Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Brian Harr officiating. 75, of Danville, passed away on October 28, 2021.
He was born on March 28, 1946 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to the late Paul and Margaret (Delaney) Branson. David was a mechanic for the United States Air Force, retiring in June of 1984 after 20 years of military service.
He married Marsha M. Prater on September 06, 2008 in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Branson of Danville; sons, Robert (Tracey) Branson of Goldsboro, N.C., Michael (Diane) Branson of Mt. PEARL M. (Wentz) RAUCH
98 of Plainfield, formerly of Columbiana, Ohio died October 28, 2021 at home, surrounded by family.
Pearl was born December 19, 1922 in New Springfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Dallas and Eva (Seidner) Wentz.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, Yahtzee, wordseach and needlework, crafting beautiful works of art for her family. She was a member of the Hope United Presbyterian Church in Plainfield.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Glenn A Rauch; brothers Russell, Norman, Paul and Harry Wentz; sisters Dora Grim-Schwab, Letha Miller and Helen Wentz; sons-in-law Robert A Holt and Bobby J Flowers.
Pearl is survived by her beloved daughters, Linda Holt of Peculiar, Mo.; Debbie Flowers of Plainfield; Pamela (Fred) Taylor of Avon; Glenda (John) Greene of Lebanon, Ind.; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

age 91, Amo, passed away October 27, 2021.
Born November 28, 1929 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Jacob Hirt and Thelma (Koessler) Hirt. She married John Philip Wampler and he preceded her in 2013. Avery was a Registered Nurse.
Her survivors includes four children, Julia Matlock and husband Bill, Stilesville, Jennifer Greeson and husband Kelly, Amo, Laura Ward and husband Bill, Plainfield, and Jim Wampler and wife Cindy, Zionsville; granchildren, Joshua Glaze, Wavelamd, Sarah Glaze, Danville, Cassie Broyles and husband Cody, Plainfield, Nicholas Greeson, Crawfordsville, Jason Wampler and wife Tess, West Virginia, Hillary Heimonsohm and husband Henry, Plainfield, Mary Johnson and husband Brandon, Amo, Trent Tomblin, Plainfield, Zachary Wampler and wife Hannah, Zionsville, and Bennett Wampler, Zionsville; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

97, was born May 31, 1924 to Robert and Lillie Miles in Loogootee, Indiana. She passed away October 21, 2021 in Avon, Indiana surrounded by family.
She is survived by her sons Tim McHugh of Brownsburg, Robert (Marci) McHugh of Brownsburg, and Ted (Char) McHugh of Georgia; sister Phyllis Hughes; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.

TALBERT W. BURDEN
69, of Speedway, passed away on October 29, 2021.
He was born in Beaver Dam, Ky. on March 5, 1952 to the late Charles and Ruby Burden. Talbert loved his job as the purchasing manager for Aero Industries in Indianapolis for 40 years retiring in 2018.
He was member of Kingsway Christian Church. Talbert enjoyed fishing, camping and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 5, 2021 at p.m. in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.

86, of Danville, passed away October 26, 2021.
He was born on July 10, 1935 in Linton, Indiana, to the late Charles N. and Lillian B. (Cunningham) Robertson. Ron proudly served his country for three years in the U. S. Marine Corp. He married Wyvonna L. Booker on December 3, 1955 in Dugger, Indiana.
His career spanned many years in the sheet metal trade, he owned his own excavating business, and in later years served as a job superintendent, and a utilities inspector before retirement.
Ron especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his beloved Clydesdale horses. He also served as president of the National Shoot to Retrieve Association and was a retired member of the Amo Conservation Bird Dog Club. He was a past member of the Danville Optimist Club.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Wyvonna Robertson of Danville; children, Rhonda (Larry) Angrick, Rick (Karen) Robertson; 3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren, his treasured nephews and countless friends.
His parents and sister, Janice Hardwick, preceded him in death.
Services were Friday, October 29, 2021 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with Pastor Phillip Bilyeu officiating. Burial with military honors followed in the Clayton Cemetery.
