Third year sees even more changes Popular Helston shop Fruit and Veg 4 U this week celebrated three years of successful trading and continue to go to strength to strength with many changes in the last 12 months. The shop which is run by sisters Paula and Debbie has been an evolving project as they have adapted to suit their customers needs and grown quite considerably in a short time. The range now includes eggs, nuts and seeds and milk and are big supporters of local enterprise with locally homemade jams plus pickled onions that are prepared specially for the shop by Paula and Debbie. The extended range now also has flower and vegetable seeds, fruit and veg boxes and flowers But the biggest addition came about when Olivers Butchers and Delicatessen sadly closed after 150 years of trading so they opened the deli counter which has a great range of Cornish meats, cheeses and olives. They have also welcomed
a new businesses to their basement, Baxxy's Craft Corners which is run by Michelle Baxter and has an array of Cornish art, craft, books, photography, gifts and keepsakes. But obviously as the name would suggest they stock a wide range of fruit and vegetables, much of which is sourced locally and over the time they have been open have been expanding to suit the requirements of a
growing list of regular customers. You are welcomed with a very traditional style when entering the shop from the smart green uniforms and decor to the friendly old fashioned service from the charming and always smiling sisters. So come along to Fruit & Veg 4U on Meneage Street to see for yourself.
