Dance school celebrates 30 years with new production
PUPILS from Teresa Blee Dance Ltd are in their final rehearsals for their production of Dancing on the Ceiling. Teresa has been running the school in Helston and the surrounding area for 30 years this year and the show is called Dancing on the Ceiling as Lionel Ritchie released his song of the same name 30 years ago. More than 100 pupils will be taking part in the show who are set to provide an entertaining selection of dances, from those based on The Gruffalo story to The Can Can and from dances based on Aladdin to those based on dolls from the ballet Coppelia. The show will feature ballet, character, pointe, modern, jazz and tap styles of dance and is set to provide something to entertain everyone young and old. Teresa Blee, school principal, said: “We like to support a local charity with our shows wherever possible. This time we are supporting Cornwall Air Ambulance.
