Golden blooms at Daffodil Festival THOUSANDS of yellow daffodils will offer a treat for the senses at a church in Mawgan this month. St Mawgan in Meneage Church is set to host the Daffodil Festival with more than 7000 of the golden bloomers adorning the aisles. As well as the display of flowers, visitors can learn the difference between a daffodil and a narcissus while enjoying music from local musicians. Displays by local artists and school children will add to the colourful sight along with embroidery and photographs - all with a daffodil theme. The festival runs from February 18 to 20 February from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Entry is free with donations going towards repairs for the church roof.
